Halloween

Christian did not dress up this year.  He handed out candy at the house.  Gigi made Gracyn's costume.

Pumpkins and Kittens

It was a beautiful, fall day today.  Two of the other cul-de-sac moms and I decided to load up all the kids, 8 of them, and take them to the pumpkin patch.  We go to the same one every year.  The kids play on the hay bales, run through the maze, enjoy honey sticks and hold kittens.  We go to this particular pumpkin patch about three times a year.

The owner of the pumpkin patch told me her secret for making great pumpkin pie...and it's not in the pumpkin.  I bought two cushaws to bake for all things pumpkin this fall.

I would have loved to have gotten more photos of the kids together, but C thinks he's too old for posing.

Cloud 9 Ranch

Sarah and Eli invited the kids and I down to stay at Cloud 9 Ranch in Caulfield, Missouri, where they are members.

We spent the weekend in a rented RV, 4-wheeling on beautiful trails, and celebrating Haleigh's Birthday.
